About

Diabetic Supply Rescue is a non-profit organization that recycles excess and unused diabetic supplies. We acquire supplies from people who have extras and get those supplies to people who don't have insurance.

Jay Koch founded DSR in 2010 after he started buying and selling diabetic test strips just as a way to make a few extra bucks.  He soon began meeting so many people with diabetes struggling to afford their supplies, the adventure became a passion and DSR was born.

He has worked for 30 years in the computer technology field. Even though his title often said something like "Senior Vice President of Technology Development," his usual self-assigned title was "Computer Nerd."

Jay lives in Los Lunas, NM with his wife, Nancy Gage, along with nine horses, four dogs, and two cats. Jay and Nancy have two children and four grandchildren.

Though he is no longer involved in the daily workings of Diabetic Supply Rescue, he still takes an active interest and is a member of the board.

Thank you Jay on behalf of every diabetic you have already helped, and know that your legacy here will continue to assist others for years to come!
